Uttar Pradesh MBBS Bond Details 2025 – Duration, Penalty & Rules


In Uttar Pradesh, MBBS (UG) students are required to serve a compulsory bond after completing their degree. For general MBBS students, the service bond duration is 2 years with a penalty of ₹10 lakh if the bond is not fulfilled. For students of GMC Kannauj, the bond duration is 1 year with a penalty of ₹10 lakh. Additionally, students who discontinue the course before its completion must pay a discontinuation penalty of ₹1 lakh, along with ₹30,000 for security deposit and forfeiture of fees.
